About this person

Gisle Andersen has a PhD in Sociology from the University of Bergen (2016). His research covers the study of the development of environmental regulation in Norway, with a particular focus on argumentation in Parliament, the significance of science-based expertise, and the changing valuation of nature in modern societies. Thematically he has in depth knowledge on petroleum regulation, ecosystem-based marine management plans, climate policies and environmental principles in the Norwegian constitution.
