About this person
Kristin Rubecksen has a PhD in administration and organization theory from the University of Bergen in 2010. She has especially worked with the state organizations, changes and developments in Norway, Belgium, and Ireland. Key issues have been linked to governance, control, and autonomy.
Lately, she has worked with liability issues in health care, the NAV area, and the immigration field. Rubecksen has also done a follow-up evaluation of user-controlled personal assistance (BPA) on behalf of the Directorate of Health, interaction between different state actors on workplace-related crime (client: Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs) and a follow-up evaluation of a new management framework for the County (client: Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development ). Rubecksen has also led an evaluation of the Norwegian police reform (for DIFI) and is also participating in a major research project on organization and Civil Protection (Organizing for societal Security and Crisis Management: Building Governance Capacity and Legitimacy (GOVCAP) - NFR 238016 / H20).
Rubecksen has broad methodological competence that includes both qualitative and quantitative methods and analyzes. She has extensive experience in the design of large surveys, collection and use of other public databases such as The Norwegian Management Database (http://www.nsd.uib.no/polsys/forvaltning/).
