About this person
Dr. Pourmohammadi is interested in evaluation and application of different enhanced oil recovery techniques. His is currently engaged in EOR research projects by focusing on study of feasible chemical flooding methods on both carbonate and sandstone reservoirs. He joined Uni Research (CIPR) in 2005 as a research fellow after accomplishment of his master degree in petroleum engineering from NTNU. He received his PhD from University of Bergen in 2009 with the research area on oil recovery from carbonate reservoirs by water flooding funded by former Norsk Hydro Company. After that, he has gained wide range of experiences by working as a reservoir engineer consultant on regional field development projects through serving to Reslab AS, Weatherford Norway, Statoil ASA, Aker Solutions ASA and First Geo AS.
