Our research in mental health covers wide, both in terms of age and thematically. Child and adolescent mental health is of special interest.
Several research projects evaluate the effects of research-based interventions for complex mental disorders, anxiety, depression or behavioral problems both in terms of prevention, treatment and participation in school or working.
Other projects aims to develop good measures, eg against bullying or anxiety.
We also do a larger population survey, The Bergen Child Study, that follows the children and adolescents over time. We look at the child and adolescent mental health including topics such as lifestyle, school functioning and family situation.
