About this research group
The research deals with how social and cultural interests, groups, institutions and categories are constituted and change over time. Fields of study include cultural politics, the relationship between science and society, work and education, gender and identity politics, local and regional history and the politics of energy and climate change. The studies may be conducted from an international, national or regional perspective, often with a comparative and historical dimension. The group includes researchers from a variety of disciplines, such as history, cultural studies, anthropology, media studies, sociology and political science.
