About this research group
The research group conducts applied economic research primarily on health care services and on employment and social security policy. We analyse individual decision-makers' responses to a changing economic environment. Key issues include political reforms, their effectiveness and the responsiveness of decision-makers to incentives. Regulation within the health care sector is of prime interest. Research is based on quantitative methods, mainly using administrative data sets. The researchers in this group are based within economics and sociology.
The Research Leader is Karin Monstad.
