Study on the development of one of the enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli vaccine components, based on the heat-stable ETEC toxin (ST).

Skills:

Maintaining cell lines, viral seed production, purification of viral particles, expression purification and analysis of viral proteins, marking proteins and viral particles with radioactive isotopes, transfection of nucleic acids, methods for protein analysis (SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis), western blotting, determination cytoplasm concentration of calcium and handling techniques of electron microscopy and fluorescence, especially in confocal microscopy. Recombinant techniques, ELISA, large-scale analysis and screening. Proteomics techniques, mass spectrometry, samples preparation for MALDI-ToF and MALDI-Tof analysis for protein identification.
