About this person

Ivar Eimhjellen is a sociologist with a Ph.D from the University of Bergen in 2014. Eimhjellen has worked at the Uni Research Rokkan Centre since 2009. During this period, he has also been affiliated with the Centre for research on civil society and voluntary sector, in which he is now a research coordinator. Eimhjellen is involved in research projects concerning social media, civil society, collective action, volunteering, integration and social entrepreneurship. Methodologically, he works with both qualitative and quantitative data. He has written journal articles, book chapters and reports based on his Research.
