Ultimately, knowledge gained through research must be communicated to those who will, collectively, make decisions with respect to adaptation and mitigation. Climate Services is an emerging field, which combines elements of climate science, social sciences and meteorological services to develop customized climate information in collaboration with specific user groups. Uni Research is at the forefront of this transdisciplinary field and both produces products and investigates the ways in which communities use climate information.
